Just got an OTA from Moto this am

I already flashed 7.893 before,but installing another ROM like Liberty(one that i have now) i went back to 5.5.886,but my kernal and baseband stays the same.

Here is what I did I got there like this http://www.mediafire.com/file/ah4t6ruiksupuun/Blur_Version.5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip and I went back like this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...70-r3l3as3droot-43v3r-root-bionic-v2-1-a.html All I know it said 5.7.893 when I got there and know it says 5.5.886. Except if I flask TH3ORY then it says 5.7.893 but I know its only base

Ya but that didnt change the radio or kernal. Your still on the 893 radio and kernal. My old phone is too, the one I have to send back to moto.

Yes I tried to force the update and it didnt work either.

After giving it a second thought I might still be on the 893 radio and kernal also from the OTA I received. All I did was the one step method, rooted and forever root.

Can you confirm that your baseband ans kernel versions have reverted to the original?

I can send you a screen shot but now Cam has got me wondering also Im on Lib Rom wright but that shouldnt make a difference would it. Otherwise I would have to go back to stock rooted to show you. Cam did the same thing what does his say I wonder? He is stock again I believe.

whos got the pic of a pure stock 886 bionic? Can you post it up here? I have a hunch, since I got the 5.5.893 OTA yesterday and ended up reverting back to 5.5.886 thru the one click method, I should technically still have the 893 radio and kernal. So, when the official OTA rolls out would I still receive it since everyone thinks you have to be bare bones stock to get it? Makes you wonder.
I will call moto again tomorrow and see what they say, maybe they can send me the official update again. If not if they will give me an answer as to whether I can still get the official update or not. Kinda puts them on the spot to give us some answers.
If they say I can still get the update then I'm flashing till theres no tomorrow till the OTA release.

It might backfire though. Moto may simply tell you that by flashing back to .886 via one click, you voided your warranty and there is nothing they can do. I get the feeling that you should not have reverted back.

Let's cross our fingers...ICS will come out early this Jan/2012 if am not wrong,that should be Android Version 4.0.1...we'll see!:blink:

Download 'screenshots' from the market,it's free,then adjust seconds to take shots...mine set to 15 sec..
and oh..if you have liberty,it had its own sreenshots!just push the power button for 3 sec.
