just got my X, best way to set it up?

I think I remember seeing a thread called "how to keep your X running snappy" but I cannot seam to find it anymore. what is there a thread already that has good ways to set up my X so it runs faster, easier, has better battery life?

If you're running 2.1, work around the battery drain bug:

phone settings > location & security > use wireless networks > UNCHECK

If that doesn't seem to work for you:
-turn of GPS when done using
-turn off WIFI when done using
-reboot after charging
...all of this stuff shouldn't be necessary so hopefully the update will fix it.
