that is messed up, thats a life youre going to take. i would never destroy a droid like that. id would just let the guy have it, tell verizon it was stolen and forgive him tomorrow

Forgiveness comes easier to some then to others..

Haha by stealing a phone like that the thief is just holding a paperweight. The phones ESN goes bad making the phone pretty much not useful.

You could take the pansy way out to, make it so it'll gas out and not hurt them (depending on were they fall)

My Droid got stolen on Saturday Afternoon by some thief. Snatched it off my hand as I was calling my Mom... what a terrible weekend for me. Anyways, I reported it stolen and such, got it canceled and claiming a new droid.

I know about Mobile Defense, is there any other app I should install? I had it installed on the stolen droid, but the thief turned off GPS and Wireless... so I was unable to track it and give the info to the police...

You're lucky the thief didn't kick your ass or shoot you. I wouldn't have even chased him off because he could have been armed.

Best thing to do is file a claim for a stolen Droid and Verizon will turn the stolen Droid into a $500 paperweight.

You'll have to spend $90 or so to get it replaced but at least you won't have to pay full retail for another one.
