keep my bionic or return it

I have 1 week left to return my new bionic. I like it but it's not without it's issues. I too am having the data connection lost issues (among other things) and I just don't feel like I have a "top of the line" device. I know it's a hell of a smart phone don't get me wrong but I am wondering if I should just wait for the nexus. I don't like the razer because I don't like small light phones (I know I know it's just a personal preference not trying to make any razor fans mad).

What do you guys think? Anyone else returning or wishing they could return there new bionic?

It can't get any worse right. Hopefully. I myself am keeping mine. I know they will fix whats wrong n I know the devs will make it much better.

If you really have to ask return it.

Don't get me wrong my friend I realy love it so far. I came from an original droid and MAN what an upgrade. but I paid 299 for it (which is the same price as the nexus) and I am a bit concerend about updates. If I where google I would update the phone I back before I update any other phones. I know google is buying Motorola portable but still I would think the nexus will always be first. Also I'm a little disapointed with Motorola because they haven't released a fix for the data conection issue. IMO I think they are putting a bunch of fixes together (which is taking time) instead of fixing the most important issue now and fixing other more minor issues later.

I'm keeping mine. Update comes out in November. Razor doesn't seem any better and the battery is a big negative.

i have mine since the weekend and no problems, works nice and smooth. but i am still returning it next week for the razor.

While I'm not planning to return my Bionic, I'd say do so while you have the chance and get the Nexus. I just hope I don't see a "Keep my Nexus or return it thread" when the next phone comes out.

I would definitely return the Bionic if you can. Not because it's a bad device, but because you're going to have the Rezound, G-Nexus and the Razr all in less than 3 weeks.

You can test all 3 of them out, if they don't do it for you, buy the Bionic at half the price you paid originally.

The Nexus' camera, screen and instant ICS did it for me. It will probably be buggy as hell being a new OS, but it's going to be a device you see many dev's working on for quite some time.

Another thing I was thinking about was, the Nexus was designed with ICS in mind, when released, it will be the only phone that was even in the engineers minds when ICS was moved from tablets. I think this will end up playing quite an important role as time goes on.

I have had the entire Motorola Droid lineup on Verizon, I mean everyone of them and Bionic is the Best. Extremely happy. Happier after I rooted and installed the r3blurr3d rom

I came from the d1 after it finally broke and I didn't have a replacement. I needed a phone and ended up with the bionic because they were out of d3s and I am happy with my purchase. I have to say at first the screen bothered me but I got used to it. After rooting the bionic I felt even better about my choice. It brought me back to the good ol d1 days. I was kinda hurt that Motorola would release another phone so soon but owell I like being able to pull the battery when things go wrong. As far as the nexus I like Motorola phones and like having the physical soft buttons.

Hopefully the devs will continue to support the bionic, especially cvpcs. This phone will be amazing with cm7!
