[KERNEL] Kernel (deprimed_test) - Break It If You Can

My phone does NOT run nice when using the overclock/primed. It seems to run okay at stock voltages, but I feel like I could use a little extra voltage to run smoothly.

Prime, what are the stock voltages of your kernel BEFORE you run overclock/primed?

Do this in a terminal:

su
modprobe overclock
cat /proc/overclock/mpu_opps

This will give you the voltages the kernel is using by default.

Just updated to the latest deprime kernel this morning. I ran a few RL Benchmark tests just for grins. Oddly enough, Bumblebee is fastest when running stock voltages. Once the primed script is run to go to ULV, OnDemand is faster.

Has anyone played with stock voltages versus ULV? How much better is battery life on ULV? I'm considering going to stock with Bumblebee, cause HOLY COW does my CPU fly.

I am on PE 5.02 and no compcache. Ran script in post 789 but when i go into the system/lib/modules I do not have a zram.ko file.

any help would be appreciated.

Either you didn't flash deprimed or your /system directory is full.

Stock will provide more than adequate battery life, heat has always been my issue with the stock voltages. On latest few variations of deprimed the stock voltages seem to be fine...although I don't run the device @ 900mhz all the time while on stock voltages.

Either you didn't flash deprimed or your /system directory is full.

I can only suggest reflashing, there is no reason why you shouldn't have a /system/modules/zram.ko module.

It's not in the zip for some strange reason, I will have to see why and update the kernel. Doing that now, glad you noticed but I had a pm saying something similar.

It's built in by mistake (I said this was hand configured (= ), I will build it as a module on the next release.

I don't quite understand what "connect car By" or "Connect without" means. What is the name of the application?

My BT works in my car just fine with deprimed.

My latest quirk (and this could be and most likely is my ROM's fault) is that 3G comes back right away after calls but doesn't turn green. I am forced to flip airplane mode on/off.

Deprimed with "primed" script and top slot at 1000/62vsel

Sorry about previous message...sent via phone. However, here's the scenario:

1) Flashed CM7 (#42)
2) Flashed lastest Deprimed_test.
3) Bluetooth in car will not connect. The indicator comes on for a while like it is trying to connect and then just turns off and never connects.
4) Re-Flashed CM7 (#42) (this overwrites deprimed and uses CM7 stock kernel)
5) Retried connecting to car Bluetooth...it connects and everything is fine.

Hope this clarifies my issue.
