Keyboard not lighting up

Anyone noticing sometimes their keyboard stops lighting up? This has happened to me twice now in as many days. The 4 capacitive keys and the physical keyboard doesn't light up. Last time a reboot fixed it. Just now I just rebooted for a different reason and now its doing it again. Anyone else?

Ok there is something odd for sure. Just rebooted and still not lighting up...also most if my home screens shortcuts signed to have disappeared!

Just click on the power button to put it on standby then reclick to turn the lights back on. Everytime you turn off the phone, you'll have to do it. Its fast and easy. Hope this helps.

I tried the power button and it's not working. Am I missing a step? I don't see where it says stand by.

I have a problem with the keyboard backlight. Mine won't turn on and Ive tried multiple solutions. What did you do to fix it?

I've noticed that mine only kicks in during low light situations

Everstar80's response has worked for me. It only happens after a reboot for me as he stated.
