The new dialer in the latest build of Kit Kat has to be one of its best features. The new UI includes the ability to search for businesses. This is helpful for a guy like me who actually has the local chinese place in his contacts. Instead i could simply search for the place without having to open up the browser. The Kit Kat Dialer is only available on the Nexus 5 and other Nexus and GPE devices, and is not even included in AOSP, however the development community has made the app available for install on any device. You will need to root your device and be running a custom rom prior to installing the app, you will also need to be running any version of 4.4. You an install this via an apk or a flashable zip file.
