Went to a relatives in Boise about 25 years ago. Having a heat wave then to and no one had air conditioning.

Oh we definitely get hot here in the Southern side of Idaho.
It's a desert, high desert, but still a desert, w/o the agriculture irrigation canals etc, it would be pretty bleak.
