I'm way south of Oroville dam. The dams above me, one the spillway faces the other direction and the other one would fill up the Santa Ana River. That river has banks that are 100 yards across and a creek running down the center 10 feet across,
How does that happen? 300'across the river and then a 10' creek crossing ? I think this dyslexic person needs a picture to understand that. Glad you aren't near the Oroville dam, though! [emoji56]

The river is always almost dry year around. After a hard rain it gets pretty big, maybe 100 feet across. We have different flood plans, the 300 year floor plan would have it maxed out. That's once every 300 years.
