16 degrees here and power went off 20 minutes ago, eta 10 or 11. Already getting cold in the house.

Hopefully you have a fireplace!
That's how we "survived" for 2 plus days (2019) Thanksgiving in Prescott AZ. Got into town near midnight Thanksgiving night, blizzard started just after we got there, power out and hour later...
2 days huddled around the fireplace, just going outside to collect more firewood... Got down to low 40's in the house...
Maybe not bad for you cold weather folks, but for the "it's 50 and freezing" folks from San Diego... It's crazy...
