when it reloads after using an app for a while it renders my phone completely useless for about 10 to 15 seconds. Thats a lot of waiting.

I agree and there are a lot of settings that can help prevent this, The one thing I know that helps this along the most is if I open an app in portrait mode and and while in the app switch to landscape mode and then try to go home in landscape mode (and Vice Versa) Launcher Pro has to completely rethink itself. If I go back to portrait before closing out the app the "keep in memory" mode within the Launcher Pro settings will usually take care of the rest

Have you last 3 posters been using the newest version? A coworker of mine complained of the same issues on his Incredible until the most recent update, he said it loads super fast now. No redraw. I think he has keep in memory enabled also.

New update today added a calendar widget and swipe gestures for the dock.

I can now put five apps on my dock and have the center app launch the app drawer with a swipe.

How do you set up the swipe? I mean, where in the settings?

Long press on anyone of your dock app icons, a pop up will then prompt you, select swipe gesture, you can set a different gesture for each app icon, even the middle app drawer square

I love launcherpro but I am having an issue with my custom dock icons. They constantly revert back to the original icons. Does anyone have any advice on how to make my custom icons stay on the dock? Thanks

Settings | Applications | LauncherPRO, Clear Defaults

Then it will ask which home app you want next time you hit Home

Or you can download "HomeSwitcher" from the market

Redraw/Reload Issue

I have seen it brought up a couple of times in this thread but I did not go back and reread the entire 150+ pages. Has anybody found a solution to the constant redraws? It's driving me crazy I love this app but since I manually updated to 2.2 the redraws are out of control!

Simple. I have seven screens yet I dont use but one. And I dont feel like switching. May go down to for.

Clock Widget: Animated Clock Free (yes, the second hand on the clock works)
Dock on laucherpro forums page 43. Blue icon too.

I use the calendar widget, the bookmark widget and the people widget too. Trying to condense to the four screens like I said before.

Using the swipe gesture on Launcherpro. Press the blue icon get apps. Swipe it, get the screen previews. The blank in the middle is a swipe gesture to pull down notification bar (since its hidden). And the other three are phone, contacts and browser. Simple, eh? Yes.

having redraw issues again, tho not as bad as before. one think i did happen to notice is if i lock my phone while anywhere else besides the home screen is when i have the redraw problem. i wonder if that shows problems with it staying in the memory? i have keep in memory checked.
