I am not about to read 93 pages of this thread.. but... does anyone have a problem with this Launcher occasionally FC'ing when you touch the screen. Either an app, folder, or long press the screen (like when you are adding a widget?).

I have a 2.1 Droid. I admittedly have around 100 apps and low memory. So who knows? It just seems like it is doing this even moreso.

Do you have the 3D Drawer enabled? If so, try disabling it.

Keep launcher in memory is greatly appreciated. Some devs add the option in spare parts while others don't. The scrollable dock is a perfect place to keep some direct dial shortcuts too. People may shoot me for saying this, but why aren't you charging for this amazing app?

Is there any way to disable the "Home Chooser" screen (when you hit home on your default screen)? I don't use this, but there are plenty of times I'll accidentally hit home on my default, or hit home twice (because of a delay returning to default) and it'll pop up.

If not, Fede - any thoughts on adding this as a new option?

I use 5 screens, so from my default hitting home, then choosing a screen is slower than just swiping one or two times to get to the screen I want.

Let me get this straight. You are on another screen other than Home (I'm guessing screen #3 because you have 5 screens) and when you press Home it brings up a choice of 5 screens, is that correct? If so, then it's the second setting in Behavior (after going to the Menu and Preferences).

No, I get that setting, and have it disabled.

I'm talking about when you're already on your default "Home" screen, and you hit home again. On the stock, it basically does nothing - and that's what I'd like it to do here. I like almost everything about this app, but this is one feature I could do without. As I said, there are times where I double-tap or accidentally hit home when I'm already on the default, and it brings up the switcher (which I then have to hit back to close out of). I'd prefer it to do nothing. It's a little bit of a nit, but would love if this was selectable...

Fantastic release. Widgets that were crashing before are now working! (e.g. the 4x4 Calendar Pad Month display, the Analog clock, etc.. Great job. I would gladly donate.

Nope, you can't disable that feature.

The new LauncherPro Beta v0.6.0 is here and it brings the goodies! It includes a few bugfixes and some exciting new features.
Here’s what’s new:

• Fixed the bug where the app drawer’s home button would show for a second after coming back from an application.
• Fixed screen previews when choosing to have 2 homescreens
• Fixed some folder-related bugs when 5-row option is selected.
• New screen indicator (optional). If you’re not using the homescreen dots in your dock, you can choose do display a small indicator at the bottom of the screen to know on which homescreen you are. You can enable it in the preferences
• New: The app drawer button is now a regular dock shortcut. That means you can change its position, change its icon, or remove it entirely.
• New: The dock has grown! Swipe the dock to the left (down in landscape) to reveal 5 additional shortcut spaces. Now swipe it again for 5 more! That makes a total of 15 shortctus. You can add the app drawer button on the new dock spaces by long-pressing on one and choosing “App Drawer”.
• New: Option to keep LauncherPro in memory. When you’re running low on memory, the system usually kills LauncherPro, so next time you open it, it has to reload all widgets and icons which takes a few seconds. This option should keep the system from killing LauncherPro. If you experience any troubles with it, please disable it on the settings.How about that? I hope you like these new features as much as I do.

has anybody else noticed in Froyo that there is a slight delay when hitting the drawer dock button to open the drawer? it seems to be only in froyo... it probably wouldn't be noticeable if everything else in this app wasn't so instantaneous

With the extra apps you can put in the dock, the froyo back ground gotta go, switching to glass.........yeah now that looks better. I am loving these extra features. Ok this in officially no longer a beta.......

LP with this update IMO is the clear cut #1

The only thing that is missing is the infinite loop, where you can continue to scroll in 1 direction or the other and it wont hit "the wall."

WOWOWOWOWOWOW. This last update was insane. It took away every bug I had and I havent had ONE FC. Very fast, smooth. But Im preachin to the choir. But seriously Fede, this is SICK.

One Suggestion: It would be cool if you could have an option to have the icons go up the left and/or right side of the home screen instead of scrolling the dock to the right. Just an option.

Overall great app!!!!!

I'd love to have the ability to disable the scrolling of the dock. Either that or I need to recreate the same dock 3 times.
