LCD vs AMOLED

I had the DIC for a few weeks, really liked it, but saw the X, and the screen size for me was the biggy. I have big hands and the larger keyboard was the selling point.

I've been reading about the X with the LCD screen, and even the new DIC's coming out as well, vs the AMOLED screens.

I've heard the LCD's are much better in sunlight, but not sure if there are other differences.

The droid x still isn't super in sunlight though I've never had an AMOLED to compare too other than seeing proof in videos. (Screen is fine if I don't have it in direct sunlight though) Think AMOLED is supposed to have better color?

Having owned the Nexus, for a while, I can safely say that the AMOLED was very difficult to see in sunny conditions. The brighter it was outside the harder it was.

The DINC screen has much better color saturation, but really sucks in the sun. The DX is pretty good for an LCD and marginally better in the sun. I have seen better and worse.

An anti-glare screen protector can help either.
