It has price at 249.99 with $50 mail in rebate. I thought VZW got rid of their mail in rebates? At $200 it would be a pretty sweet deal.

No. The voice radio is still CDMA.

As with any business, you want to maximize profits for EVERYTHING you sell. Giving the iphone and the Thunderbolt their due time in the spotlight is smart business. IMO that's all they are doing.

Waiting until the 24th isn't going to change my life. But what it WILL do is make the TB that much more popular as it won't be in the shadow of the iphone.

iam confused. Why would it still not be in the shadow of the Iphone4 after 2/24/11?

Verizon's policy now is that any phone priced over $150 will not have a mail in rebate.

That does not look like an official page for Verizon, HTC or Best Buy so its just a fan page. Since BB was doing a pre-order for with $50 down, when you finally can get it the price will be $199.99 plus that $50 gift card you got making you feel like its $199 when its really $249.
