LG has just launched a new variant of the G6 which they are dubbing the "G6+". It isn't exactly what you are thinking though. It has identical specs to the standard G6 when it comes to the 5.7" display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 3300mah battery, and dual camera. The only difference is this variant includes 6GB or RAM and 128GB of storage. It would have been nice to see LG at least go with the Snapdragon 835 here to justify the Plus moniker. I can see how they might feel this would disappoint the thousands of people who already purchased a standard G6 though. One change worth noting is that the G6+ does include the Hi-Fi DAC. Two new colors include Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold. This variant will cost an extra $100 which may actually be worth it.
