No I am still on board. And If I decide to ditch VZW in February I'll either be picking up a Nexus 5 or an unlocked G2 to use on Straight Talk.

Vzw g2 should be unlocked as all current high end vzw phones. My vzw gs4 gets LTE ON AIO wireless.

Yes, better to buy an unlocked G2 from Verizon, so you can use it anywhere. Also, better resell value.

My unrooted VZW G2 doesn't allow changing the Phone Info band selection so still stuck with HSPA. Anyone know of a way to get into Phone Info to change the Modem Band selector without root?
