Pretty soon, Samsung and Asus will not be the only companies with a "phablet" in the marketplace. According to a new FCC filing, LG is bringing the LG VS950 to the United States sometime soon. This is a 5-inch device, and is most likely the North American version of the LG Optimus Vu which was already released in Asia. Despite the fact that it has passed through it's FCC testing, there has been no clue about when the device might actually launch on Big Red. It has some fairly beefy specs to chew on:
- 5 inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixels
- Dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8MP rear camera
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 32GB of internal storage memory
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
