LG will never be status symbol. IPhones are status symbol in 3rd world countries.

To offer a Smartphone over 1000 € is inflated but it can pass when called Apple or Samsung (to a lesser extent), given the brand image they enjoy. But a smartphone more than 1500 € when one is called LG, they are a little exaggerated I think.

brand image really does not mean much to me. most brands have high end and low end models. I put LG up there with samsung.
