Liberty 0.7 now available

I for one am just glad that jrummy and the liberty team are still working on the Rom as it is. ALot of the rom builders have moved on to other phones and those of us that are stuck with this phone for another year would be screwed. Thanks Liberty.

+1

I am a huge fan of the Liberty ROM and I couldn't be happier to see their hard work continue to Gingerbread. Please, keep up the amazing work.

I am still having the calendar issue and tried restoring calendar storage in TB but its never been backed up. Any suggestions?

I tried running .7 but am having too m any issues...I guess that's why we have to test!!! good work guys, but .6 is running much smoother for me!

I had the same problem with the calendar and I resolved it by wiping and reflashing v0.7. I also cleared data on my exchange email account after restoring it via Titanium.

Works great now.

Flashed .7 after wipe (I like to be on the safe side), everything but titanium backup has root access. For some reason, TiB says it has no root access. Never had this problem before. I updated to latest superuser and busybox, but no joy... Think I'm gonna try a reinstall and see if that fixes it.

I was also having this issue. Try going into settings, applications and clearing cache (data too?) for TB. Also check your permissions within the superuser app and forget the status. I did both of those then it accepted that I was rooted.

Does your calendar widget work? I couldn't get mine to work in 0.7 so I dropped back to 0.6.

The customizer in 0.7 didn't have the option for me to select the AOSP or Blur calendar.

I have not had any of these problems going thru any versions of Liberty GB. I don't know if I'm lucky. But I do a data wipe, cache wipe, Dalvik cache wipe twice each before every flash of the new versions. I go back thru the customizer every-time and have my Calendar on the Blur Version and my messaging, gallery and camera are all on Aosp and I don't seem to have any problems

There's no calendar option in the 0.7 customizer so the calendar widget doesn't work for AOSP calendar (the only way I can get the AOSP calendar widget to work is to install Blur calendar first then AOSP calendar).

This is working great for me for the last about 36 hours. I had one random reboot after about 4 hours but nothing after that. Smooth as silk - coming from .6 I did NOT wipe and have had absolutely not problems. Even the FC'ing calendar issue has been fixed - at least for me. Excellent job gang.

Working great on the d2 as well! Runs like a dream

Droid 2 Liberty GB v0.7

Liberty keeps getting better and better.
I can't imagine it any better now lol.

Question tho: Does it say Liberty v.6 under the "About Phone" option in the settings?
I am on v.7 but it says v.6.
