if you are currently on the gingerbread leak but want to come back to froyo to run liberty, you'll have to flash an sbf from your computer. it will totally wipe your phone and bring it to a stock, out of the box state. if you need more info let me know and i'll give you some links.

download maderstock or TBH Monster 3.40 SBF. Then Download RSDLITE 4.9. then DOWNLOAD MOTOROLA USB DRIVERS. Then use RSDLITE TO FLASH SBF. YOU CAN READ UP ON SBFING ON THE FORUMS TO HELP. HOPE THIS WILL HELP. I USED INFO FROM THE FORUMS AND REALLY DOES HELP. IT WILL EVENTUALLY GET EASIER!!!!! ................NOTE......... THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO RETURN TO STOCK...UNLESS YOU ARE ON THE GB ROOTED VERISION....dancedroid

If I have the master stock on my sd card and im using the rooted gb can I flash back with bootstrap. Or for I still need to sfb back

You shouldn't have to SBF, that is only for last option flashing. Or if u will be coming from GB leak. As far as installing new Liberty when it gets released you probally will just flash the new ROM using clockwork just like you do know. Hope This helps.:icon_ banana:

Did the same thing earlier today. Gingerbread is okay but it is no liberty!

Bootstrap, reboot recovery. Data wipe/ factory reset. Flash maderstock or TBH monster 2.3.340 updater...
reboot, sign into google... you are now stock.
re-root, bootstrap recovery, flash Liberty.
I have saw no reborts of anyone doing a nandroid restore from the rooted GB, back to 2.2. In theory it should work, but I would take the xtra 5 minutes to do as listed above...:blackdroid:

The yes comes from p3droid, who released gb to us in the first place. I'd take his word for it
