[ROM] Liberty3 V2.0 For The Droid X 11/28 - Sunday Bloody Sunday!

With the sbf... you can only sbf to complete stock... So sadly no option to sbf with root.. But there us a nice easy way to root now... And there isn't an app... The method is threw Adb... So it will involve a computer... But it's easy.. Just make sure you have the right files and run the script

Post script: I wouldn't ota to 605 as it's only a keyboard fix... So you'd just be adding an extra step...

Double post script: no need to be sorry... It was just a simple misunderstanding...lol

We have nothing to fear but running out of beer

ok, thanks. I'll figure this Adb thing out once i'm on .602.

Try this method to install Liberty Customizer Donate Version. I found it on another thread before Liberty 3 v2 was released and it worked for my DX.
(1.) Uninstall Liberty Customizer Donate (2.) Open App Manager and find Liberty Customizer (3.) Select it and Break Market Link (4.) Exit App Manager and re-download the donate version of Customizer (5.) Open the donate version, go to Theme Manager and hopefully the themes show up

Thanks for the tip, I just tried it but no dice. Still no addons found.

Wireless Tether?

Been loving nearly everything in this ROM. Extremely fluid, and well functioning. I could complain about the battery life, but it's not the dev's fault that since I installed this I just can't stop myself from doing things with my phone. Kudos on a job well done. :hail:

One minor question that I can't seem to determine: is there a secret to wireless tethering with this ROM?

Yes, I uninstalled wireless tether and installed WugTether patch. Do a google search for it. It installs wireless tether and some patches that allows it to work.

Very interesting. Thank you for pointing that out. I really do appreciate that. I learn more every day about these phones through this forum.

Awesome rom, however anyone know how to get the sms (non blur) to not do text to speech?

After installing a fresh copy of L3.2.0, I am still unable to receive picture messages. I have not tested a simple text MMS. I have unchecked and rechecked both autoretreivals in the cm7 messaging app with no resolution. Anyone else having this issue?

I am very pleased with this ROM!!

My battery is running at 18 hours now and still have 35% left. Very stable ROM with full customization. Im glad the ROM ROM has been off their beat for the DX because that finally gave me a reason to switch ROMs and find one I could actually use!! Thanks developers!

I have done two battery tests so far. Nothing official but I have gotten at least 1 day 8 hrs 45 min on both of the tests. I just let it run all the way down before charging it back up. I would consider the usage to be moderate, but I did use the gps some during this test. I usually always get at least 24 hours with Liberty ROMs. Keep up the great work.

Yes, the battery life is great. I have gotten 60 hours once with light use and regularly get over 24 hours with moderate use.

Pull-Down Toggles

Can someone please list the pull-down toggles. I know most of them, but I'm not sure about a few of them.
Thanks in advance.

Rick
