This is not a message saying 'I quit', but rather one stating that I've shifted my approach based on the issues with hardware. I am going to focus on a 2.4.330 Stock Blur nandroid (from my phone), trim it down, and add in whatever I can in terms of what I can build from AOSP.

Currently have a lightweight base that has verified to install as an OTA zip. I will put my work on github later in the week. Vendor config already up@ github.com/bikedude880

I also would like to see what the much-hyped GRD team can't seem to quite release. :)

Their recent upload flop (and I mean that in the nicest way, they are doing a good job) and progress prompted this decision. Think 2.4.330 + AOSP = D2G ME (minimal edition) :D

I had a working one from wozzy except for a few bugs (like phone not working at all..... he tried to put aosp contacts in and blur phone didnt like it). Not sure whats up with this latest one.... i didnt even get it to test lol

Heh... I've got access to a full AOSP app list w/source I can modify :P
Gonna strip my image down tonight to the bare minimum working image. Wish me luck!

I'll be reviving bikedude880.freeflux.net with status.

wanna share? lol

I need to get back to working on mine. Had to redo my ubuntu partition again and havent really started back since.

lmao its better than starting from scratch though

I can take a look at it and maybe figure out what you broke though.

I'll consider it tomorrow, right now it's fastest to compare my changes against what I have stock. I can say right now that it feels close to being ready.

Because y'all like Quadrant scores... (lol, just after I posted this, I pulled a 2184, then a 2277)

Stagefright is something that's enabled by default on stock android phones it just isn't enable on motorola phone because there media apps aren't update to work with stagefright. On the newer phone like the bionic it is enable because the have updated there apps and system to work with it.
