Linear For Gummy Jar

OK Test this one fully. Please try to run through all the apps functions. I had to add a bunch of lines to a XML and I want to make sure it didn't break anything else. I didn't have time to fully test.

It should Install overtop of the current one without a problem.

Downloaded, installed. Played for a few minutes, seems to be working fine. I'll keep you updated.

Oh one thing I noticed on the screen where you can have 12 friend tabs, my twitter profile pic is missing. It shows up fine in my Home column though, so no biggie.

Thanks for testing that is odd cause mine shows up. You will not have pictures where you select friends to add to your list that is part of the code I wrote to make another screen background black.

Great Theme!! I have always been a fan of the revolution themes, just wanted a hair more pizazz without getting too busy, you guys nailed it. I have one request though.

As my wife uses my phone from time to time rather than getting hers out, she will be pissed at me without being able to see the sliders....think you could offer an alternate version? something that fits the rest of the theme would be great....

I love it though, don't get me wrong. You'd just be helping a brother out with his woman. Thanks!!!

I lol'ed. I mean it's not too hard to know where to slide to open, but hey guess some people can't be taught new tricks :icon_ banana:dancedroid. But then again some to prefer seeing the sliders w/e floats their boats. Best of luck!

LMAO They are transparent to keep the average wife/gf out we will take your request into consideration but I wouldn't hold my breath! The transparent locksliders are our thing.......so I would say your best bet is to teach her.

will do, I love the clean look, but i am guaranteed to take flak for making it so "difficult" for her. If you do end up granting my request, I have no issue with you naming the attachment "dumbass slider" just because.

Again though, this theme is nearly perfect, with the xtg launcher pro skin, i am loving the look of my phone. Taken with the ludicrous speed of the gummy ROM, its awsome.

Question, i could swear that when I first installed linear that the home menu (the preferences menu that pops up when hitting the menu button when you are on a home screen) was predominately black, with white graphics and text. It seems to have inverted on me, with it being mostly white. I have no idea how this is possible, or if I am just remembering those menus from gummyjar stock.... What do you think?

Gummy 2.0 just released this am. Will Linear work for that build or should we wait for an upgrade??

I can't upgrade until I know this theme will work, it's sick!!

ok, boy i wish that was left black with red highlights. Would just seem to fit the rest of the theme better imo. Still the best theme for the best rom I have ever run though. linear gummy is pure awsomeness. Can't wait for linear 2.0

UPDATE!

Bgill55 has already ported to gummy 2.0 I am testing now to make sure everything works.....you will also get a small surprise with this release after a request was made for it. Thank bgill for it because I wouldn't have done it.

O menu icons are white background with black icons all images haven't been changed yet so some appear white background gray icon.....honestly it is 100s of images to change.

well if i can help in any way just let me know. Don't have tons of time or in-depth knowledge of software, but I do have gimp and can edit image files easily enough, i'd like to contribute if you need the help.

One question though on modifying the menus, gummyjar stock already comes with dark menus, is it possible to make those just pass over into your theme? I don't know how it all works, so forgive my stupidity.

We might consider doing this on a future release of the theme. It is a lot more then just changing icons. XML rewrite are involved for the text color.
