List of bugs with my Razr

Ok first let me say I love the phone. But its having a lot of issues. I wanted to see how many were experiencing similar issues.

1. 4G data drops
2. Wi-Fi data drops (this happens very often)
3. Constant data usage (nonstop sending/receiving for no apparent reason and can't be stopped)
4. Screen times out quickly no matter what its set to.
5. Screen times out during full screen video.
6. Lagging gallery app
7. Crashing gallery app
8. Battery drops from 100% to 90% with in minutes of unplugging it. (Although I'm not sure this is a bug)

So far that's all that I've noticed. Anybody else having these issues?

New here, just bought the RAZR friday night at costco. Anyways...

1.) I have not experienced 4G data drops. The city in which i bought the phone had 4G and it worked flawlessly. Watching netflix was so cool. However, i have no way of accurately testing the data drops as i am now in a mostly 3G only zone.
2.) Its possible the Wi-Fi drops to converse battery. I would check into what your settings for Wi-Fi are.
3.) I think the constant data usage is from "background" syncing of contacts and other data you have on your device. I set up Smart Actions to turn this off when i was not charging my phone. Its a really useful program.
4.) Yeah, ive experience the screen timeout quickly. I am still not sure what happened there.
5.) I believe the screen times out during video because the display might be set to time out after a certain amount of time on your phone. I would check your settings. I have mine set to turn off after 1 minute of no discernible motion.
6.) The gallery app is just awful.
7.) Yeah, ive had it crash (just once though). It also takes up so much space. and it refuses to shrink into a smaller space.
8.) The phone's battery monitoring software(for some reason) operates a 10% scale. It will stay on 100% until it drops to 99%, but 99% is actually 90% and so on. The phone will appear to be at 90% FOREVER because of this. I would recommend downloading "battery circle" or something similar to will give you a better estimate as to what battery you have left. I've got about 17 hours thus far off of one charge.

Smart actions is really useful for extending the battery.

Dancin' here with my extended battery, smooth flowing, Th3ory rom Bionic. My phone suffers from "nevercrash" Hope moto decided to fix the RAZR like they said they'd fix the Bionic...many months later. I get data drops too, but thats my only problem with the bionic. Oh, and the camera could be better too. I knew the RAZR would suffer from some of the same things the bionic did. Hope it gets better for you.... seriously.

According to the watch dog app the data usage seems to be coming from the social networking app that was pre installed on the phone. I deleted all my accounts on that program and it seems to be working fine now.

Try that and let me know if it works.

Curious to see how the battery on this things pans out after a few charges. Hope you get your problems worked out.
