I went into my local Costco store and bought a membership this evening. I used the promotion that they have here:

I ended up getting the Executive Membership for $100 with the $20 Cash Card. The woman explained to me that you will get $50 back on the membership guaranteed at the end of the membership. Or, if you want to downgrade, you can get the $50 back then.

The way I looked at it, it was another $20 off the Bionic with the bundle. I did confirm that they would have it tomorrow. The guy said that about 20 people have called about it. He told me that there is no way they would have that many actually in stock.

I plan to get there early.

No, but they only accept cash, check, AMEX or Discover(I think). You CAN get an AMEX/COSTCO card from them but it's not required. Now, having said that, the Verizon Kiosks at COSTCO are a separate company and may have a different policy.

You can use a debit card as well.

Since i'm not elegible for my 2yr upgrade yet (not until December) I can't get it from Costco. So I'm going to have to go to the VZW store and pay the $30 per dock. Oh well, I'll just go get my refund from Costco

The two costcos around me confirmed that they will be selling the bionic along with the accessory pack tomorrow. They did not confirm the price however the person I spoke with did say "around $300". One said they will only be getting in 8 phones and with me getting off of work at 4, my chances don't look good...for one store atleast.

Just called my local Costco in Florida. They will have 6 in stock tomorrow between 12:30 and 1. And she definitely confirmed the package! She also said they should get another shipment on Saturday. So there you have it!

I do not believe they accept Discover either.

Just got back from my Costco. She confirmed that they have 6 phones available, and in the 2 hours she had been at work, she received over 10 calls about the phone. She expects people will get there very early tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's worth missing that much work for... She did say that there will probably be another shipment on Saturday, but I have no idea how to time that to get to them before they sell out again.
