Funny how people are WOW'd by live wallpapers, especially the starfield, I find it to be the same as having a screen saver. Remember starfield screen saver for windows 95?

Remember the "Active Desktop" for Win95? TERRIBLE implementation which caused 90% of my BSODs.

I'm in the same boat. I can't find Earth Live Wallpaper, Waterpaper Live Wallpaper, or Grass Wallpaper. Is there a reason that these are not showing up while searching the Market?

Grass is a stock live wallpaper. Why they aren't showing up in market not sure. How long has it been since you have updated? Have you tried resetting your phone?

For the immature people, aka me, AndWobble Live Wallpaper Beta v1.0.5 Application for Android | Themes and Seeds of Life Live Wallpaper v2 Application for Android | Themes are fantastic. Seeds is actually probably my favorite of the two, because I don't feel bad putting icons and widgets on the screen with them.

Beyond that Livewaterpaper, starfield, and substrate ones are my personal favorites. I kinda like to mix them up from time to time.

Thanks for the comments cupfull... I've only had my phone for a week. But, while you posted this, I was in the process of forcing my Droid to 2.1... After a couple quick tests, I went to the market, and BAMM!! The apps were there, just as you said. Now to go back to focusing on the Droid and playing with some live wallpapers.

I have Jellyfish tank. Actually fell in love with it when I was rooted with 2.1, but I have it now unrooted and official. Its 99 cents but I think it pretty awesome. I've never had any lag with it because the jellyfish hide in the background until you touch the screen. Also if your get a text or have a missed call etc. one of them will pop up with the message. Would love to tryout earthrot but a market search didn't come back with any hits.

How can I find this one? Not in the market. QR code doesn't work from Androlib. Also, how is there not an aquarium live wallpaper yet? Surprised this wasn't a stock LWP, honestly.

I had the same problem after I unrooted then went official, I was pretty biffed off. I rebooted and for some reason it appeared after that. So idk maybe the markets being buggy. I concur there should be a good, FREE, aquarium live wallpaper.

I'm going to post a pic of my set up because I started using this one this morning and it goes perfect with my icons.

I'm posting from Droid so I can't post it up. But yes this one is pretty sweet. I love dark themes.

Is there an easy way to take a screenshot now with 2.1?

I know there is an app to clear your icons to show just your wallpaper, but is there a way, to keep the screen on, when locked? Just showing the time and date? I tried the timeout settings but they dont seem to take effect till after the phone is unlocked..

I like the peace and tranquility of Water. I like how when you touch the screen the water moves like you were actually touching the water.

I do too, except when it suddenly stay with a single frame of the picture and the water effect stops. I have to switch to another LW and then back to get it to work. Hope they fix that bug. It's infuriating and it would be my favorite if it was more stable.

I use to have koi pond on my ipod touch wish someone would make a similar type pond with fish and work just like the stock pond wall. I like how on weather widget when its raining a windshield wiper wipes them off the screen. Wish someone would also make a similar one to that like if u were driving through a storm. I am using the earth live wall right now it'd real awesome.

Thats weird, I was thinking about that thismorning, I used to have a screen saver that when it rained, it would rain on yer desktop, and snow, etc .. that would be cool..

You can manually install 2.1 now, the link is posted numerous times in this thread.
