Live Wallpaper Problems

So with the 2.1 update came live wallpapers.
And I thought, "Hey, this is really cool!"
So, I held my finger on the screen, selected wallpapers, live wallpapers and selected the wallpaper I wanted for my background.
It's great! Then my phone goes into standby and when I push the button to use my phone, my old wallpaper is back up and my live wallpaper is gone.

What is wrong with my phone??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

and it does the same thing every time? did it force close at all? can you change to different regular backgrounds?

It does it every single time. I can use normal pics but no live wallpapers. It doesn't force close either. I don't know what else to do. I set a live wallpaper, put the phone to sleep and when I turn it back on, the old basic wallpaper is back up.

are you using home++ at all? apparently someone said in the thread i posted above that it doesn't support live wallpapers

As noted, a thread already exist for this. Matter of fact a couple of them do. Please use the search before starting a new thread.
