Location of GO SMS Themes

So, youre saying that I have to download the .apk, tear it apart, tweak what I want, and then rebuild it and install it? Hm... Are there programs to build .apk files for themes? Im so lost.....

Yep that's right. Take a look at apk manager (for windows). I have a mac but the only reason I have windows on my computer is for this program. It will allow you to take apart an apk (like a go sms theme) and modify any png to your liking or colors and compile it back together and sign it. It's got a really nice interface too so it's very user friendly. Let me know if you have any questions on how to use it and I'll be happy to help!

Awesome! Thanks so much! How do I get the .apk file off the phone? Sorry for the noob-ness...

You just need to locate the apk using a file explorer (try root explorer). The app will be in the data/app folder and from there you can get it off your phone a lot of ways (email, send to a folder on sd card, dropbox) so whatever is easiest for you. Just long press the application in root explorer and then select send or share and you'll have all these options.

So, I got Root Browser and found the APK file that I need, but I have no idea where to find it on the computer once its connected. AND, it wont let me email it because it says that it has to be on the SD card. BUT, when I try to move it to the root of the SD card, its not there. SO frustrating! This was SO MUCH easier on the iPhone...

And, for that matter, why is it that the directories and files on my computer, while browsing my phone, look NOTHING like the directories and files in Root Browser?!
