Lock Screen doesn't

I have the LG V30. The lock screen requires a pin or fingerprint. When carried in my pocket it had started unlocking itself and doing strange things - resetting the alarm, opening the mail and trying to write letters, turning music on, etc. Yesterday it outdid itself. It did a factory reset. How is this even possible? This is my fourth lg, but at the moment it's my last!

If you had Smart Lock set up to unlock the phone automatically when connected, or somewhere, or when it recognize being in your face, it would unlock automatically and allow you to boob dial.
