Long delays in sending text messages

Wednesday I tried to send a text message (not pictures to about 10 recipients. The first one showed "sent" but the rest showed "sending" for several days. People started getting the messages over the weekend and today. I sent two more text messages today to single recipients. They still show "sending" hours later. Calls and emails are working fine.

Try turning your phone into airplane mode and back onto 3G/4G of WiFi. Which ever one. If that doesn't work try talking to your Carrier Provider. It happened to me a couple weeks back. Are you running stock or a custom rom?
