Lost root

I lost my root after the 5.5.893 update last week but some how kept the ability to use mobile hot spot for free, has anyone heard of this. I tried rerooting with petes root tools but it wont let me how can i reroot or should i just wait for ice cream sandwich to come out then try and reroot

Try 43V3R root. That might work. You could also just wait for ICS, it depends if you want to install custom roms or not. Don't install any roms if you move to 901 by any chance.

I had this same thing happen to me, I did the how to root or re root after the patch its in a thread a couple down just make sure you un zip everything first before you do the one click root
