Makes no sense!?

Here's what's going on at this moment.

We had to close the Blackdroid thread because it was being attacked. It will reopen although I doubt it will be today.

TheBlackdroid will make an announcement. After he has made this announcement and we get one or two other things straightened out, which I can assure you we are working on the thread will open asap.

We do realize that the end user is the one being punished here. However to have left the thread open while these flame wars were going on would have been counter productive.

That's all I have for you at this time. I do ask for your patience and understanding. We appreciate all of you as members and we are doing the best we can under adverse circumstances.

I said in an earlier thread today that I haven't gone too far into the whole ROM world yet, so I'm coming to this situation as a late observer, and only because the dispute has spilled over onto these forums. So maybe it's not my business to comment, but this is probably the 3rd or 4th thread (between this and other forums) to appear on this board today regarding this issue. I understand fully that for people that are already into installation and troubleshooting of this ROM in question, there's no turning back and you need support. But the mods have already directed everyone to the Rescue Squad for support of these problems; you have not been left out in the cold. The forum will not be reopened until they've had a chance to resolve the issues at hand to everyone's satisfaction; when that's done, I'm sure they'll announce that. Why rehash this over and over in thread after thread, and then continue to throw gas on the fire when threads start getting closed? What does it resolve? That mentality is what started this mess in the first place. Everybody take a breath, take a step back and put the phone down for a few hours.

Maybe I'll get flamed to a crisp for this, but it's my observation.

No, what you say is true. There are indeed several threads like this and I see some of the same people posting in them. As you pointed out the Rescue Squad is available, and as I pointed out we do realize that the members are truly the ones to be affected by this.

So if you are having a problem, go to the Rescue Squad and they will assist you. For the rest just be patient. It will get resolved.
