making hotmail fwd to gmail

Is there a way to make hotmail foward its mail to Gmail? My school makes me use a hotmail account but its a pain to check it daily. Its not a normal email address like joeblow@hotmail.com. its more like joeblow@email.itt-tech.com. so I can't use the email app for it like you could with a normal account. Any advice on how to set this up would be awesome. Thanks.

Also, all mails going to Junk mail from Hotmail will not be forwarded, so be warned.
