Manually updating Eris to 2.1

I have the HTC 2.1 Release Candidate (AKA OTA) Leak Rom update and I want to know how to manually update the Eris.

Is it like the Moto Droid? As in.....do I rename the file to "update.zip" and put it in the root folder of the Eris? I read that you hold down the volume down button and the power button at the same time with the Eris and then it will update.

Anybody have anymore details or are any of my details incorrect?

Do you want to root it? The leak 2.1 is different than root 2.1

Thanks guys! I figured out that I didn't need to change the name of the file. It updated and so far working perfectly!
