As devs we are kinda in a hold pattern right now. This new stuff hash is cooking up will make the droid 3 GB stuff pretty obsolete. Its sad but on the brighter side we could do much more stuff with source if this goes through. We will keep you updated.

Any known issue with wifi thethering? After installing this rom im not able to navigate from a connected android device sharing my 3g data plan. It connects pretty well, but can't navigate.

You had the same issue ( with the screen not turning on ) Did you solve it? Cuz i have it too with the maverick 4.5!

Yes..this new stuff really works great. I use the alpha 4 with safestrap and it works wonderfull. Even google now and ears work great! Good luck!

Anyone noticing battery life issues? I went back to Mav 4.0 to confirm, I am getting much less battery life - wifi seems to be draining and Android System. need to charge at about 10 hours off the charger - 4.0 was lasting about 16 with normal use. My apps are exactly the same - Any ideas? If it is just me, I will live with 4.0.

Im also having android system using a lot. Drained 50% last night will being fully idle with android system using almost 1 hour of CPU time.

No went back to 1.0ghz after I had to use it as GPS on my motorbike (heavy usage)

I had battery drain issues with overclock, but i reflashed and kept it at 1.0 and no drain issues.

I just forced 1.0 (even though I never overclocked) and reset battery stats (in safestrap), and cleared dalvik. factory reset for good measure. I will get everything loaded and give it a full charge overnight.

Let it sit idle for just over 3 hours - down to 90%. This is much better than what I was seeing earlier, but I have been on wifi so far. I will see what happens in a 3/2g environment.

Yes I agree, just thought it was me, not a deal breaker, too lazy to go back to 4.0 but yes noticeable decrease in batt live ( and no I am not OC, forced stock clock)
