Max not disconnecting from service when powered down

Hi all...been through 2 phones with the same issue,when I power down my razor maxx for the night and were to call my cell number from a remote phone ,my razor will ring as if it were still on (4 times)then go to voice mail instead of going immediately to voicemail as it should......... Any one else with this issue?
