Not bad. I had a lot of downtime at work. That was almost all 4g except the last 10% streaming YouTube.

I'm having crazy battery issues as well. It all started the charge after I achieved a two day up time. I recently received a replacement Maxx Hd and I'm not achieving anywhere near the same times I was as far as battery life is concerned. The first phone was having major wi-fi issues. It was showing wi-fi was being used and active for the same amount of time the phone was on battery however it was turned off in the settings with both check boxes in the wi-fi settings menu unchecked. Use percentage for wi-fi was way above the norm. My replacement device is doing the same thing and I have not changed the way I use the device at all. Wierd issues.

Uncheck "Motorola location services" in SmartActions settings. It says it uses data from wifi even when wifi is disabled. That's what was causing the wifi to show battery usage even when off, for me.

That's some excellent information. Thanks for that one! I was stumped.

Looks like you have WiFi on constantly. How long is your screen on? Voice calls? Videos... internet
music? Chrome?
Signal strength? 3G or 4G?
Screen brightness?
Sync on?

Is it okay to do this? I've heard that it can sometimes be bad for the battery if you start charging the phone but don't let it finish.

FoxKat and aw other people have recommended NOT to do this but on Saturday I let the phone drain all the way until it shut off and charged over night off and I got the best battery life out of it since I got it. I'm just sharing my experience and do not recommend this because they say it's b dangerous to do that. I don't want to get blamed for dead phones.

I do this almost exclusively. Had worked with all my cell phones I've owned. Always get great battery life.

Ive been getting some horrible battery life lately and am really starting to think something is wrong with my phone. Here's some screen shots

Set up a smart action to turn off data when wifi is on.. perhaps check your refresh rate on your apps like facebook and such.. I don't use facebook but I heard its a battery slayer

@foxkat

I am planning to buy a Droid razr m nxt week... Will i use the same method for battery (full charging when phone off, used till 15% n then again off n full charge as described by you) in my razr m?
