Maybe upgrading is 3 only 4 g

I'm due for an upgrade is the Droid 3 only 4G ? a friend says it does not work on 3G is this correct?
If so thats kinda foolish if you live in a county area like I do away from a city?

Your friend is lying, all 4G phones are 3G compatible.

Also the Droid 3 is only a 3g phone not a 4g one.

I think your friend got his 3s and 4s mixed up... the droid 4 is only 3g but the droid 3.4 is 4g and someday the droid 43 will be 34g :wink:

The Droid 3 is 3G only. However, 4G phones will "drop back" to 3G when only 3G networks are available (like living in county area vs. the city).

But...the Droid 3 is only 3G no matter where you live.
