I love this ish, but IMO, there is not much of a difference between the 2 OS's.
They both run on Andy 2.2 (Soon to be obsolete).
For all we know, MIUI could be the MEIZU M8.

My point is, it is fun to play for a while, but when it's all said and done, were flashing something else in the near future. Like 20 min ago!

True enough, MIUI is modeled after Meizu M9 so they should be similar enough. Still I'm excited to try something new. It may or may not replace MIUI as my daily driver, but call me crazy - I'm choosing to suspend judgement on a new ROM until I actually try it.

I will definitely try this when it comes out. However, I think the UI is ugly. I'll be interested to see what features it has, maybe it can be skinned to my liking

The main reason I stick with miui is because of the fact that not much has changed since the release of 2.2
that along with the fact that the notification drop down is beautiful and chucked full of features.

Oh wow, i was actually hoping someone was going to do this. And just a reminder, he is working on porting a rom, the one thats over at MIUI Dev is just a theme. I cant wait to try this out. Good luck Zen

im super stoked for this..

i have a question tho..are you going to carry over all of the icons as well from the ROM. i was actually on SKYPE with a buddy of mine who is stationed Singapore and he was showing me his new android and an ad they have running for the Meizu. and the icons are KILLER!!! forget the functionality which is sensational, but the icons are uncanny, imo!
