Well, I got distracted. This poor little fella was at the kids school this morning. Right in front. He would not move. I was actually in transit to go back and rescue him, but the custodian saved him. I believe it is a young snipe. Idk. I always hear of snipe hunting but is that real?

Dang it, i told you not to laugh sheesh. Apparently, mr know it all it is a type of snipe called a woodcock.
I just went and double checked the bird is ok.
My husband did inform me that if i went up to the school asking about a bird they would throw me in jail for being crazy. Humph! We shall see.
