messaging force close

I have a droid with the 2.1 update 1 version. When I try to send a text to one of my contacts I get a force close. This only happens with one of my contacts. All other contacts work fine.

What SMS app are you using? Also, are you trying to send SMS to an email address or is this person a phone contact you are trying to send to?

I'm just using the app that came with the phone. I was trying to send a text to a mobile phone. I have sent texts to that number before with no problem. As a matter of fact I was in the process of recieving a text after sending and recieving 3. At that time I got a force close message. Now whenever I select "message" for that contact I get a force close. I can still send texts to any of my other contacts. I powered down the phone and turned it on again but the problem persists.
