it should,i looked at the dx swype apk and the images look the same size, never know untill you try,report back if it works so i can update the OP

If I didn't know any better I would go to VZW sign in to the display X with my account, bring the necessary root files, download what was needed from the Market and give it a shot, they would probably think something was up

Seriously though, I am surprised no one has reported trying this yet...in theory there is no reason for it not to work

yes you can,i have all of them on my sdcard and change it up depending on my mood,theme and rom.

It is not a lot of work at all if it works, these themes were made for Swype and work flawlessly on the Original D as of now it is unconfirmed on the DX although the Metamorph only targets the swype.apk there is no reason it shouldn't work

Is your DX Rooted ?

I cannot find the folder. I searched it and found nothing until I got to a folder called /data/data and theres a swype folder.Is this it?

On your DX it should already be in system/app (the instructions will vary a little)

It is in the system/app folder and in there as "Swype.apk" and i cannot rename it because it says read only. When I press on it it says install..not sure?

in root explorer at the top right,touch a button that says r/o or r/w

Stupid question but what do I mount it as, pc mode, windows media sync,usb mass storage and/or probably not charge only?
