Yeah it is kind of apocalyptic!! And I really don't mind snow, but ice and below zero winds SUCK! Hey, give me a paid day off to sit around and read thru DF? I'll take it!

lol, I agree with the winds, I played capture the flag the other day, no snow but the below zero winds made my face feel insane, I'm pretty sure I tasted blood that day. I feel bad that you guys have to plow your own roads. I blame Minnesota lol.

F... -20 at grand canyon this morning .. phx is 40 ish for the high.. which is way cold for down there....

I'm in Missouri and have 16 inches of snow with snow drift upwards of four feet. No snow plows come out this way, so my family and I are going to have to dig our way out to the main road which is about 20 yards away. My snowblower will be working overtime

I don't care what anyone says....you just don't ever get used to that cold. I have been in cold weather my whole life. And I still hate it.

Its been a crazy year for weather. We have had record lows and close to record snowfalls. Minnesota has had some crazy weather and to think its been close to the worst winter yet is just mind blowing.

Where in MO? I hear I-70 is shut down from border to border. My kids live in Cape Girardeau so I was tryiong to keep an eye on that.

I get what you're saying. I think we get used to the cold during the winter and then forget about it every summer.

lol my buddy suggested it so five of us went out, he didn't know the weather was gonna be that bad but we did it anyway and definitely regretted it after, especially running in that, catching your breath is hard! we climbed trees and walked like a mile into the woods after, and it was fun, but the walk home was terrible because the snow already on the ground would eat your foot, and it was hard snow, so you had to break through it and almost trip with each step while being blown back by the wind. we should play football RIGHT NAO.

Didn't get nearly as much as expected here just south of Syracuse,NY. Just 4" or so. Doesn't matter much to me anymore since my winter is over. Broke my hip and femur 3 weeks ago. No more snowmobiling this year for me.

Same here. The cloud cover actually keeps It warmer. Sunny, clear, windy days are always worse.
