This fence is 5 feet tall. This is how much snow is in the yard all over. It's up over 7 and 8 feet where I have been throwing the snow with the snowblower. Even for New England this is a crap ton of snow.

We just got rain all day here...

You know what scares me? I have gotten more "lucky you"'s today than "That sucks" or "I'm sorry" or anything! LOL!

We were just above the rain line so it stayed all snow. I would say yes it is lucky but we literally have 5 feet of snow on some of the roofs on the house and we can't get to them to clear them. The ice dams are so bad we have several bad leaks in the house right. Not a good time had by anyone. But I am thankful for an amazing snow blower that eats this snow for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Yeah that was lucky for you. I was just saying that some people today have actually been envious of the amounts of snow we got here! They must really like snow...

Honda HS-928 and I have the shield on it as well. That thing is great, especially on windy days so the snow doesn't blow right back into my face haha.

We got all ice and strong winds! Lots of ice. Now we are getting extreme cold temps, on top of that trying to help my neighbor get her living room back as well. Guess the tree was tired of all of mother nature 's love and wanted inside for once. Lol

And yes its all ice not one bit of it is snow. All the white stuff is ice that has fallen off of trees, houses ect. from freezing rains, blowing winds and gusts up to 45 mph.

Yeah one crazy winter so far,just getn back from helpn clear debris out they called it quits for the nite getn too cold now. Will post more later whole town here with downed power lines and trees. Looks like a war zone.

So I'm in a northwest suburb of Chicago and thought since I'm stuck home today I would like to hear what's happening with others who encountered Blizzard '11. Anything crazy happen?? I have 7 ft drifts, can't push open my door, and there is a driving ban in effect. Also I thought the thunder/lightning show was intense!!
