Two questions. How do you change and add icons to the lockscreen and what clock widget are you using?

You change the lockscreen in theme manager included in the miui rom itself. If you go into the theme manager, you'll see a lot of themes that come with different styles of lockscreens. You can also change just the lockscreen in a theme by clicking edit theme at the top of theme manager app and choosing lockscreen styles and picking which lockscreen you want to use. The clock widget I use is fancy widget pro and the skin is called h7c......it replicates the htc clock widget that comes with htc sense phones. Hope this helps.

That helped a lot. Only other question. I am using redarkend and the unlock icon is the miui.us logo but on the preview its a gray lock. How do I change that and also can u change the apps that are launc@he'd from the app screen. Sorry for all the questions this is still kinda new to me.

You have to edit the mtz file. Search miui.us for a detailed thread on it. I think its titled "5 way unlock" or something like that

If you want your status bar/notification bar removed on the lockscreen, let me know. I'll tell you how to edit the xml files, rezip it up and reapply the lockscreen theme.
