ya know, I thought that too. Because I read that some apps may not appear, but a reboot should fix it ...so I thought, hmm, maybe the market was one of those "apps not appearing". so i rebooted .....and got stuck at the M ....then I got pissed and restored by backup lol.

But I really wanted to give this a fighting chance, so that's why I'm asking. Maybe i'll download it one more time and try once more.

Rebooting should fix the issue with market not showing up. If you get stuck on M on reboot, not sure why it happens, but to fix it, reboot into recovery, wipe cache and reboot.

Okay..1.6.3 is running great, BUT...what is the icon in the top left that looks like a steering while that I can't get rid of? Plus, it's blocking all of my other notifications in the top left.

Yep. Won't allow my temperature or big battery notifications to show. Just rolls them up as though it is in lockscreen.

I believe it is a change in how Miui handles notifications. Anytime you have more than 1, it will roll them up and give that icon w/ multiple notifications. So if you have a temp display and anything pops up, it will roll them together.

PARick, can you try just enabling 1 of those, temp or big battery and see if it shows up? I know with both of them, Miui will combine them.

I believe the reason is because Miui has gone to that is because they are showing Network name in the notification bar and so there isn't as much space there

I will talk to some devs w/ other devices and see if they are getting similar behavior.

My guess is something got ported wrong maybe.

Yeah, I have no complaints bout this week's build.
Everything was fine in the past, just wanted old MMS.apk but great work as always. Sure you get that all the time.

Yupe, that was it. Turned off the two things I knew I had running and it's gone. I'm assuming by your post that there isn't a way to turn it off?

My notification is the circle number even with only one notification. Don't like it.
