I haven't seen mine try to make any calls on its own yet, but now that we're on to the suspected Droid invasion, I'll be more vigilant.... :icon_eek:
I know the phone can do its own thing: I've got Pintail installed which responds automagically to a text message from another phone which gives a request for "locate" followed by a pin number that you've chosen with the Droids best estimate for its location (which could be a precise GPS location or an approximate location determined from cell signal). If it can do that, I don't see why it can't do the next step and make a phone call. But that would seem to be a bit too much automation. Were there any incoming text messages or other traffic that might be related to the calls?
Jim.
