Moto Droid Hard Keyboard <alt A> Key

The A key has an alt symbol or function that is a right pointing arrow with a bar (->|). WTH does it do?

Where can I find compete directions for all the functions of the hard keyboard?

it lets you go back into a sentence and add/delete something, when you get done typing what you want it goes back to the end of the message you're typing.

Hmmm and here I just thought it was to indent the beginning of a new paragraph.... but actually, as I try it while typing this, it keeps bringing up my recent web/search history???
