(you intentional, not a typo)

Accidentally clicked something in my address bar and would up at Motorola.com.
Before I went to where I meant to go I saw: Trade in your phone and get a Moto X!!! (UP TO $475)
Well, I know the X is pretty sweet. I'd love to Moto Maker my own. Hell, my Turbo is one of THE latest phones, I should get CLOSE to $475 then, right?
Punch in my info. Click QUOTE: $150.
Seriously Moto?
So then, for Giggles, I punch in Nexus 6. That's the latest and greatest, right? SURELY that one is, at least, CLOSE to $475.
$200.

Sooooo.... exactly WHICH phone will get you the $475*. Oh, and Moto, I don't see what that little asterisk is supposed to be point me to.

Motorola US Android smartphones Moto 360 smartwatch cell phones

Looks like you can trade in multiple phones. I'd assume that's where the limit comes in to play. But I didn't see anything explaining the $475 in the faqs

My Note 4 would apparently bring in $250. I'm guessing they're willing to value phone from other oems at more than their own for this promotion, since I'm sure it's just a plot to get more users to switch to Moto devices.

Gotta wonder if they trash those devices, or turn around and sell them to insurance companies to use as refurb replacements...?

Both probably. Some even go overseas and/or they give them away.

Tapped from a Nexus 6
