MOTOFAIL won't root phone on build 181

I've done the following:

- Made sure I have Motorola 5.4.0 drivers installed on the computer
- Downloaded the MotoFail file to my desktop and unzip it.
- Confirmed "USB Debugging" is selected
- Connected the phone to your PC and select the "Charge Only" on the phone
- Opened the MotoFail folder on the PC and click on the "run.bat" file

All I get is "Waiting for device".

(I'm running Win7 Pro on the PC.)

Anyone have any tips or other ways to root the Razr Maxx with OTA build 181? I would like to use Motofail due to its simplicity, but some feedback would be nice.

I don't offer a solution but I can assure you that the Motofail Expoit works with 6.12.181.

I found the ota waiting on me this morning.

I unfroze frozen apps with Titanium Backup. I unrooted with Voodoo. I installed the update. I rebooted with Voodoo. I refroze with TI. And all is well.

Did you check "allow apps from unknown sources?"

Yep, Unknown sources is checked. Well that is good to know that it actually does work with 181. I'll try to use a different computer, maybe that's the problem.

The Droid RAZR Utility 1.51 by matt works on the .181 update no problem. Just make sure you dont load safestrap AND bootstrap you have to pick one. Everything you need is on the utility.
